How to Use Kruti Effectively

Kruti is designed to be intuitive, but here are some tips to help you get the most out of the tool and create stunning posts quickly.

1. The Editor Interface

The Kruti editor is designed to be mobile-first, with the most important actions easily accessible.

  • Canvas Area: The central part of the screen where your design comes to life.
  • Bottom Toolbar: Contains the main actions:
    • Generate: Creates a new random background pattern. This is the core feature of Kruti!
    • Insert: Opens a modal to add new content like text, quote cards, or images.
    • Options: Adjust canvas size, background color, and other settings.
    • Export: Download your final creation as a high-resolution PNG.

2. Step-by-Step Workflow

Here's a typical workflow for creating a post with Kruti:

Step 1: Choose Your Canvas Size

  • Click on the Options button in the bottom toolbar.
  • Select a preset size that matches your target social media platform (e.g., Instagram Square, Instagram Story).
  • The canvas will resize, and a new pattern will be generated automatically.

Step 2: Generate the Perfect Background

  • Click the Generate button (the magic wand icon) repeatedly until you find a pattern you love.
  • Each click generates a completely new algorithmic pattern with a harmonious color palette.
  • You can also go back to Options to switch between light, dark, and white background modes.

Step 3: Add Your Content

  • Click the Insert button to open the content modal.
  • Add a Quote Card: This is a pre-styled card that ensures your text is readable against any background.
  • Add Text: Add standalone text for titles or other messages.
  • Add Image: Upload an image from your device to include in your design.

Step 4: Edit and Customize

  • Select an Object: Tap on any object on the canvas to select it.
  • Context Toolbar: A small toolbar will appear near the selected object with quick actions like Edit, Properties, and Delete.
  • Properties Modal: For more detailed edits (font size, color, etc.), click Properties. This opens a draggable modal that you can move around so it doesn't block your view.
  • Resize and Rotate: Use the handles on the selected object to resize and rotate it. On mobile, you can use two-finger pinch and rotate gestures.

Step 5: Export Your Creation

  • Once you're happy with your design, click the Export button.
  • Your post will be downloaded as a high-resolution PNG file, ready to be shared on your favorite social media platform.

Pro-Tips

  • Save Favorites: If you generate a pattern you really like, you can save it to your favorites to use again later.
  • Layering: Use the layering options in the properties modal to bring objects to the front or send them to the back.
  • Experiment! The best way to learn Kruti is to experiment with different patterns, content combinations, and customizations.

Happy creating!
